Debbie Nelson, principal of DNA Creative Communications, LLC, recently presented the Greenville Chamber’s May Small Business of the Month Award to ADEX Machining Technologies, LLC. Jason P. Premo, CEO and Co-Founder of ADEX, accepted the award.
The company was originally founded in 1987 in Greer, South Carolina as a small tool & die shop. In 2007, the company was acquired, re-branded as ADEX Machining Technologies and relocated to Greenville, South Carolina by Sean Witty and Jason Premo. Today, ADEX specializes in advanced machining of prototypes and new product development projects, just-in-time contract manufacturing, and working with exotic “super-alloys” such as Inconel, Titanium, and other high-nickel or cobalt-based materials. Adex was recently selected by The Boeing Company as the only precision machining candidate for the mentor-protégé supplier development program.
Each month, the Greenville Chamber selects a local, small business to receive the Small Business of the Month Award, in recognition of outstanding business operations, as well as a proven concern for the Greenville community as a whole. The winners of the Small Business of the Month Awards throughout the year qualify as the nominees for the Small Business of the Year Award, which is awarded at the end of each year. DNA Creative Communications, LLC received the Small Business of the Year Award in 2005. As an active member for many years, Debbie has served on several Chamber committees and currently serves as the Chamber’s Small Business Committee Chair.
