Our most recent Shine the Light on Your Nonprofit session was on special event planning and it was a lot of fun hearing about other events from the panelists and audience members. We also wanted to share an upcoming event we’re working on that we get pumped about!

Project Rx: A River Remedy is a free and safe medication take-back program, developed by DNA for Renewable Water Resources. It started as a response to, “how do we protect our rivers from medication being improperly disposed of by flushing?”

Now it has grown into a full-fledged, Upstate-wide taskforce, as this issue connects with so many different organizations:
