DNA Creative Communications (DNA) welcomes two new interns, Emily Massey and Arley Turner, to their team.
Massey is a senior at Clemson University where she will graduate with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication Studies. She is from Tallahassee, Florida and was recruited to Clemson based on athletics. Since her freshman year, she has earned three year varsity letterman for the Women’s Rowing Team. She has been very involved off of the water as well; currently she serves as Vice President and team representative of SAAC (Student Athletic Advisory Committee), student-athlete representative for The Solid Orange Committee, student-athlete mentor and she is also a member of the Kappa Zeta Chapter. Her most recent communications experience includes working for The National Federation of Independent Business in Washington, D.C. She has also had internships within the radio and television fields.
Turner is a senior at Furman University where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Turner found Furman University while searching for a slightly warmer climate than her Arlington, Virginia home. She has thrived at Furman’s small liberal art’s community and was placed on Dean’s List in the Spring of 2011. Her previous communications experience includes working with Howard Consulting Group in Washington, D.C. An active member of Furman’s campus Turner also works in the Furman Admissions office and serves on the executive council of the National Panhellenic Conference as Vice-President of Public Relations.
“I am delighted to be a part of the DNA team and am looking forward to using the chance to gain more experience in the field of public relations and communications. I am excited to apply the skills and knowledge I have learned in school and gain more insight into the field,” says Turner.
