DNA Creative Communications is pleased to announce that founder and president of DNA Creative Communications, Debbie Nelson, was awarded the Silver Medal Award by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Greenville. The Silver Awards dinner took place May 15, 2013 at the Commerce Club.

The Silver Medal Award is the highest honor a local AAF club can give to an individual. Founded in 1959, the award recognizes men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising, who have been active in furthering industry standards, and have exhibited creative excellence and demonstrated responsibility in areas of community development.

I am truly humbled by this award,” Nelson states. “It is amazing to be recognized for amplifying the voice of our non-profit community through advertising.

Candidates were judged on contribution to their company, creative ability, contributions to the general advancement of advertising, and contributions to the community. Nominations were reviewed by a panel of judges that included former Silver Medal Award recipients, current and past AAF Greenville Presidents and Board Members.
