Background:
DNA Creative Communications began in 1998 as Debbie Nelson & Associates, a small firm with a focus in public relations and public education. Across the years, DNA has expanded its talent and specialties, now operating as a full-sevice communications firm. The company needed an updated look to encompass its new capacity.
Goals:
The team sought to revamp the Debbie Nelson & Associates brand with
several purposes: 1) revitalize the look and identity of the company,
2) develop a brand name that more accurately identifies the services
of the firm to prospective clients, and 3) ensure the brand change resonates
well with current clients and associates.
DNA Results:
Since the new name mimicked the previous acronym, the company's transition to DNA Creative Communications was seamless. Current clients quickly adapted to the organic change, and new prospective clients are able to discern DNA's service of bringing creative energy to any form of communications. DNA selected a variety of outlets to launch the brand, including a website revamp, selective advertising and sponsorships, and promotional materials.
